A member of Driving Force, the Power Soccer team in Columbia, Mo., waits to practice inbound plays at Woodcrest Church on Sunday, Nov. 6th. Mark Ohrenberg, team manager and Youth Advocate for Services for Independent Living, said the soccer team has existed for about four to five years in Columbia. The game is played basically the same as the normal form of soccer except now players use wheelchairs, either power or manual. In 2007 the U.S National Power Soccer Team won the first Powerchair Football World Cup. The sport will be demonstrated at the 2012 Paralympics in London, England.
